#7 Getting Unstuck
Listen more deeply to where your soul is being called
Note: You can continue reading below, or listen on Spotify.
You’re here, reading this article and maybe others. Maybe searching for something—a shift, a way forward, a sign.
But have you ever stopped to wonder what’s actually keeping you stuck?
For months, I wanted to write a book for The Vibration Movement. I outlined, researched, and imagined every detail. But when it came time to start, I didn’t. I couldn’t. Instead, I kept telling myself:
“I’m not a writer.”
And just like that, the path forward disappeared.
I didn’t see it then, but the problem wasn’t motivation. It wasn’t discipline. It wasn’t even the writing itself. It was clutter—mental noise disguised as truth, a story on repeat that kept me frozen in place.
The shift came when I questioned it. What if this belief isn’t real?
If I write, then I am a writer. So, I took the smallest step I could—I wrote an article instead of a book. And now, seven issues later, here you are, reading it.
That’s how change happens. Not in giant leaps, but in a single moment—the moment you decide to clear what’s in your way and realign with God’s will for your life.
Big Idea: Getting unstuck is about seeing something you are missing.
From the moment we are born, we are open, curious, and full of possibility. But over time, layers of doubt, conditioning, and expectation begin to settle over us—subtle at first, then heavier with each passing year. These layers don’t change who we are, but they distort how we see ourselves.
In my coaching practice, I see the same mental clutter surface again and again. Limiting beliefs like: “I'm not enough to do this.” or “I’ve failed before, so I’ll fail again.” or “It’s too late for me to change.” Also, societal expectations like: “Being a good parent means doing it all.” or “I need to prove my worth by working harder than everyone else.” These thoughts can feel personal and shameful—but they’re incredibly common.
The more these influences accumulate, the more clouded our vibration becomes. We begin to shrink ourselves to fit expectations, mistaking the clutter for truth. We forget that our essence remains untouchable, limitless in its design.
But the moment we clear the noise, we reconnect with what was never lost—our Creator, our potential, and our clarity. This is how the path forward gets illuminated.
The next time you feel stuck, try SHIFTING your perspective:
S - See the pattern. Identify what you want to change and what’s happening instead.
Example: "I want to spend more time with my kids, but I keep working late."
H - Highlight the purpose. Determine what role this pattern plays in your life. Is it protecting you from something?
Example: "I stay late because my entire day is filled with meetings, so I have to do my actual work in the evenings."
I - Investigate assumptions. Uncover the hidden beliefs driving your actions.
Example: "I attend all these meetings because I want to feel deeply embedded in the team—like I’m a critical part of everything happening."
This is where transformation begins. In Christian language, this is when we renew the mind (Romans 12:2)—and gently unravel old beliefs that no longer serve the truth of who you are.
F - Flip the narrative. Challenge these assumptions with real evidence.
Example: "Being involved in every meeting doesn’t define my value. My contributions are solid, but I don’t have to be present for everything to be valuable to my team."
In Christianity, evidence comes from Scripture which teaches that our value isn’t earned—it’s received. Your worth is not based on how much you do or how visible you are. It's grounded in the truth that you are made in the image of God, loved, and called—before you ever perform or prove anything.
When you begin to live from what’s true for you, the atmosphere of your life shifts—your vibration becomes more peaceful, more magnetic.
T - Transform your approach. Replace outdated beliefs with new ones that support your goals and take a tiny step forward.
Example: "I do my best work within business hours. Overworking makes me inefficient, an ineffective manager and drains my energy. I will set clear boundaries for deep work time and delegate or opt out of non-essential meetings, so I can be more present both at work and at home."
Closing Thoughts
When you begin to change your beliefs, something shifts. And that shift—rooted not just in mental clarity, but in spiritual surrender—is what begins to change your life.
True transformation is not about trying harder. It’s about letting go of what’s false, realigning with what’s true, and allowing God to do the deeper work within you.
That’s the real movement—not just forward, but homeward.
